Carney: Canadians gave the new government a strong mandate
Ottawa, May 13 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Canadians have given the new government the authority to redefine economic and security relations with the United States, reduce prices, and build a stronger economy.
Prime Minister Carney emphasized that Canadians entrusted the new government with redefining relations with the U.S. in terms of economy and security, lowering prices, and building a more robust economy.
He said the new Cabinet was formed prepared for today’s challenges: “Canada, meet your new Cabinet. This is a team empowered and expected to lead. Together, we will build a new economic and security relationship with the U.S. and develop the strongest economy in the G7.”
