Cooper: We need concrete action from Iran
London, September 17 (Hibya) – UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper held a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
Foreign Secretary Cooper, along with her European counterparts, spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to reiterate concerns about Iran’s nuclear program.
She stressed that the UK remains committed to diplomacy, but noted that Iran has not taken the necessary steps to prevent the reimposition of sanctions, stating: “We need concrete action.”
