Georgiev met with French Ambassador Dumoulin
Sofia, 14 November (Hibya) – Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev met with Marie Dumoulin, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Bulgaria.
According to the ministry’s statement, Minister Georgiev received Ambassador Dumoulin during a protocol meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the state of relations between Bulgaria and France and confirmed their readiness to further strengthen and deepen cooperation across a wide range of areas.
Minister Georgiev emphasized France’s role as Bulgaria’s strategic partner within the EU, NATO, and other international organizations.
The two diplomats discussed several current developments on the European and international agenda, noting that their positions align on many issues, including the war in Ukraine and the key importance of the Black Sea region for pan-European security.
