Ghebreyesus: Healthy people depend on a healthy planet
Geneva, November 14 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that healthy people depend on a healthy planet, emphasizing that everything possible must be done to correct the alarming situation seen in the planet’s health indicators.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus stressed that healthy people are dependent on a healthy planet.
He highlighted the need to do everything possible to improve the alarming state of the planet's health indicators, saying: “The climate crisis is a health crisis. Not for the future — for now.”
