Lahbib: Dialogue Day is an important milestone
Brussels, 14 November (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that the Dialogue Day held in Damascus after 14 years of conflict marks an important milestone.
Commissioner Lahbib stated that the Dialogue Day in Damascus represents a significant turning point after 14 years of conflict.
She added that since her first visit to Syria in January, the EU has continued to support Syrian civil society through humanitarian aid and recovery efforts led by Syrians themselves, noting: “Their voices must be heard.”
