Lavrov and Araghchi held a phone conversation
Moscow, November 12 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation on November 12, during which they discussed the Afghanistan–Pakistan ceasefire agreement, developments in the Middle East, and bilateral relations.
According to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lavrov and Araghchi spoke by phone on November 12.
The main topics discussed included: the ceasefire agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan, current developments in the Middle East, the work of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors, and Russia–Iran bilateral relations.
Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining existing cooperation and coordination on regional security issues.
