Putin spoke with Indian Prime Minister Modi
Moscow, September 17 (Hibya) - President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the call, Vladimir Putin conveyed his best wishes to Narendra Modi on the occasion of his 75th birthday, wishing him health, prosperity, and success in serving his country.
Putin emphasized that under Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has pursued an independent and sovereign policy and achieved remarkable economic results, noting that relations between Russia and India have remained friendly throughout history and enjoy broad public support in both nations.
The leaders also discussed preparations for the Russian President’s official visit to India in December of this year and exchanged views on a number of international issues, including the situation in Ukraine.
