Rubio: Hezbollah’s threats and coup attempts will fail
Washington, May 24 (Hibya) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the United States supports the legitimate government of Lebanon.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed support for the Lebanese government, stating that the United States supports efforts to restore the authority of the country’s legitimate administration. The statement emphasized that the U.S. stands with the Lebanese people in their efforts to build a better future.
Rubio stated that Hezbollah’s threats of violence and attempts to overthrow the government would fail, adding that “the era in which a terrorist organization held an entire country hostage is coming to an end.”
