Russia launches intensive airstrikes on Kyiv and other regions
Moscow, 14 November (Hibya) – According to Russian and Ukrainian media, during the night of 13–14 November, Russia carried out a large-scale airstrike on Kyiv, hitting the capital with hundreds of drones and numerous missiles.
Authorities reported that one person was killed and at least 24 others were injured in the attack.
According to local Ukrainian media, several explosions were reported in Kyiv at around 00:45 local time. Two additional waves of explosions were reported between 01:00 and 01:30.
The Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, claimed that “the Russians are striking residential buildings” during the attacks.
The Ukrainian State Emergency Service announced that rescue teams evacuated more than 40 people from the targeted buildings.
Meanwhile, Russian media reported that Russian forces do not strike civilian targets but continue to target locations of personnel, equipment, and mercenaries, as well as Ukraine’s energy facilities, defense industry sites, military command and control centers, and communication infrastructure.
