Saar: We welcome Kazakhstan’s participation in the Abraham Accords
Jerusalem, 14 November (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar issued a statement following his phone call with Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev.
Saar described Kazakhstan’s decision to join the Abraham Accords, brokered by former U.S. President Donald Trump, as “historic” and congratulated the Kazakh official.
The discussion covered the expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries in the fields of water, agriculture, and technology. Saar also noted that both sides agreed to work toward resuming mutual direct flights.
It was stated that both parties viewed this step as an opportunity to promote tolerance among different faiths. Saar added that he plans to visit Kazakhstan soon and has invited his counterpart to visit Israel.
