Schoof: The new House of Representatives is an important part of Dutch democracy
Amsterdam, November 12 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof congratulated the new members of the House of Representatives who took their oaths and wished success especially to the 55 new members.
Prime Minister Schoof made a statement following the completion of the oath ceremony for the new members of the House of Representatives.
He congratulated all members, noting that for the 55 newcomers this day would be a particularly special moment.
Prime Minister Schoof stated:
“After all MPs took their oaths or made their declarations, the new House of Representatives was officially formed. I sincerely congratulate them. This is an especially meaningful day for the 55 new members. Our parliament, which represents our people, holds great value within our democracy, and the new House will have the privilege of being an important part of it. I wish all members great success.”
