Shaheen meets with Ethiopian Prime Minister Ali
Ramallah, December 9 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Farsin Aghabekian Shaheen, met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali.
According to the ministry’s statement, Minister Shaheen met with Prime Minister Ali.
The meeting took place as part of the minister’s official tour of the African continent, with the participation of the State of Palestine’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Observer to the African Union, Ambassador Faris Al-Qab.
At the beginning of the meeting, Shaheen delivered an official letter from President Mahmoud Abbas to Prime Minister Ali, conveying the President’s greetings.
Shaheen also briefed Prime Minister Ali on developments in the ceasefire process and the Trump peace initiative, stressing the importance of intensifying international efforts to make the ceasefire permanent, ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and launch the reconstruction process.
