Szijjarto: Hungary Wants the Best Starting Position
Budapest, 9 December (Hibya) – Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto stated that he told Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov they fully support the U.S.–Russia dialogue and believe it could lead to peace.
Szijjarto noted that they fully support the U.S.–Russia dialogue and believe it can open a path toward peace.
He added, “If this happens, the economic era imposed by sanctions will finally come to an end.” He emphasized that the new global economic environment will bring major opportunities and that Hungary wants the best possible starting position.
