Szijjarto: We will relocate the company operating the TurkStream pipeline to Hungary
Budapest, 9 December (Hibya) – Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto announced that they have decided to relocate the company operating the TurkStream pipeline from the Netherlands to Hungary so that it can continue its activities smoothly despite ongoing legal and financial attacks.
Szijjarto stated that moving the TurkStream operating company from the Netherlands to Hungary will ensure uninterrupted operation despite external pressures.
He added that thanks to a recent agreement with the United States, the necessary conditions for continuous operation will be secured, and the payment transactions related to the functioning of the TurkStream pipeline will not fall under sanctions.
