Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made statements regarding his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, thanking him for his support to the Ukrainian people and his condolences.

Zelensky said: “I spoke with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. I am grateful for his support for our people and for his condolences. Last night, the Russians used hundreds of UAVs and ballistic missiles against Ukrainians. Unfortunately, destruction and damage occurred, including at the Azerbaijani Embassy. The President condemned the attack and stressed that this was not the first time Russians targeted the embassy or other locations linked to Azerbaijan. We also discussed our bilateral relations and the development of our partnership. In all areas of cooperation, we truly have a green light. There is strong potential, and we will realize it. Thank you.”
