Weel: We are witnessing unprecedented atrocities in Sudan
Amsterdam, 14 November (Hibya) – Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel said they are witnessing unprecedented atrocities in the Sudanese city of El Fasher.
Weel stated that unprecedented atrocities are taking place in El Fasher, with civilians being killed and starved.
He emphasized that the Netherlands strongly reiterates its call for an immediate end to these human rights violations, adherence to international humanitarian law, and compliance with the UN arms embargo. “More humanitarian aid is urgently needed,” he said.
