Ukrainian President Zelenski congratulated Andrej Babis on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.

Wishing Babis success, Zelenski said, “Our strategic partnership is an important source of strength for both our countries and for all of Europe. I am grateful for the support given to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, and I look forward to further strengthening our cooperation, including the work carried out by Czech companies in and with Ukraine.”

Emphasizing that they must be strong together for lasting peace, resilience, and Europe’s security, Zelenski added, “I look forward to meeting with the head of the Czech government soon.”
