Zelensky: Russia launched over 1,600 drones and 1,200 guided air bombs this week
Kyiv, December 7 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia has launched more than 1,600 attack drones, around 1,200 guided air bombs, and approximately 70 missiles of various types at Ukraine this week.
Zelensky noted that due to Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian cities, emergency services have been working almost every day and night.
He added: “This week alone, Russia launched more than 1,600 attack drones, around 1,200 guided air bombs, and nearly 70 missiles. Today, another attack involving more than 240 drones and 5 ballistic missiles caused damage in seven regions. Tragically, lives were lost in Slovyansk and the Chernihiv region.”
Zelensky emphasized that work continues with partners to strengthen defense: “Our priority is clear — more air defense systems and missiles, and more support for our defenders. Every agreement must be implemented faster.”
