Hegseth met with Koizumi
Tokyo, October 29 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, following his meeting with Japan’s Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi, emphasized that the U.S.-Japan alliance is vital for the security of the Asia-Pacific region.
U.S. Secretary of War Hegseth made statements regarding his meeting with Japan’s Defense Minister Koizumi.
In a post on social media, Hegseth wrote: “We had a great meeting today with Defense Minister Koizumi. The U.S.-Japan Alliance is essential for the security of the Asia-Pacific region, and I welcome Japan’s recent determination to increase its defense spending.”
He concluded his statement by saying, “Together, we can achieve peace through strength.”
