Hegseth: We will reestablish deterrence in the South China Sea
Washington, October 31 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that he met with Philippine Secretary of Defense Gilberto Teodoro for the fourth time this year.
Hegseth stated that during the meeting, both sides emphasized their determination to advance the strong defense partnership between the two countries. He added that the United States and the Philippines will continue working together to reestablish deterrence in the South China Sea and to further strengthen their alliance ties.
