Saar met with his Chinese counterpart
Jerusalem, June 14 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
According to a statement from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Minister Saar met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
The statement said Saar detailed the reasons behind the Security Cabinet's decision to eliminate Iran's threat of destroying Israel:
“Minister Saar outlined Iran’s progress on its nuclear and missile programs, its plans to eradicate Israel, and its direct and proxy attacks against Israel. Saar noted that the decision was made ‘at the last moment’. He emphasized that Israel targets military sites and facilities related to its nuclear program, whereas Iran deliberately targets Israeli civilians.”
The statement added that China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed his country’s position during the meeting.
