According to UNICEF, more than 50,000 children have been killed or injured in Gaza
New York, August 26 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that, according to UNICEF, since October 2023 more than 50,000 children have been killed or injured in Gaza.
In a statement from UNRWA, it was noted that children in Gaza were killed while sleeping, seeking shelter in schools, or waiting in line for water.
“According to UNICEF, since October 2023 more than 50,000 children have been killed or injured,” the statement said, adding that as Israeli military operations intensify, families are forced to flee as they cannot find a safe place.
