Czech Prime Minister Fiala sends message of support to Ukraine
Prague, October 23 (Hibya) – Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, he presented him with a crocheted brooch given to him by a citizen during his election campaign.
Petr Fiala stated that during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, he gave him a crocheted brooch that a woman had gifted him during his election campaign.
In his post, Fiala wrote: “A lady gave me a brooch made by her granddaughter and asked if I could deliver it to the President. I’m glad that today I was able to do so.”
He added that although they are now in opposition, their support for Ukraine would continue, saying: “I hope the new Czech government will also continue supporting Ukraine as much as possible.”
