Dutch Prime Minister Schoof’s message on Ukraine
Amsterdam, October 21 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof emphasized that the people of Ukraine deserve a just and lasting peace. He stated that the time has come to lay down arms but underlined that Ukraine’s territorial integrity remains a priority.
Prime Minister Schoof said that to achieve this, Ukraine must enter negotiations from the strongest possible position.
Schoof added that the Netherlands supports the joint statement issued by European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He noted that the Netherlands, as an important partner of Ukraine, will participate in the “Coalition of the Willing” meeting on Friday alongside its international allies.
