French President Macron met with Serbian President Vucic
Paris, April 9 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron held a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
President Macron announced that he had met with President Vucic.
He emphasized once again how much France values Serbia's democratic and European future, saying:
“I expressed my confidence in Serbia’s ability to find the path of dialogue again, and my hope that the future government will decisively continue the necessary reforms and consolidate the strong economic results. I reaffirmed our commitment to the European integration of the Western Balkans. We discussed the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
Macron said that respect for the constitutional order is everyone’s responsibility to allow Bosnia and Herzegovina to return to its European path.
He also noted that they discussed the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo, adding: “France is deeply committed to this process. It is a prerequisite for their European integration.”
