Harris: Ireland will be a voice for calm and constructive engagement
Washington, April 9 (Hibya) – Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, Defence and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris said that Ireland will be a voice for calm and constructive engagement.
Minister Harris expressed his satisfaction after meeting with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick in Washington, DC.
He said that they discussed President Donald Trump’s tariff announcement and added, “We had a valuable exchange of ideas on pharmaceuticals and EU-U.S. trade. Ireland will be a voice for calm and constructive engagement.”
