Iran Condemns Israel's Military Attack on Syria
Tehran, July 14 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned Israel’s recent military attacks in the Suwayda region of southern Syria, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilians.
Baghaei referred to Israel’s ongoing military assaults against Syria’s territorial integrity and stated that the Israeli regime continues to occupy a significant portion of Syrian land. He emphasized that the persistent silence of the UN Security Council in the face of Israel’s aggression is extremely dangerous and emboldens the occupying regime.
Baghaei also underlined the urgent need for regional countries and the Islamic world to confront and halt the ongoing illegal actions and crimes of the Israeli regime, including the unprecedented genocide in Gaza and repeated attacks on Syria and Lebanon.
He further highlighted the responsibility of the international community to prevent the continued and serious violations of international law and the UN Charter.
