Italian Prime Minister Meloni Meets with Bahrain’s King Al Khalifa
Rome, July 15 (Hibya) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
Prime Minister Meloni received King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain at Palazzo Chigi during his visit to Italy.
The meeting addressed the situation in the Middle East, particularly joint efforts toward a ceasefire in Gaza. Bahrain was also congratulated for its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2026–27 term.
Bilateral relations, especially economic cooperation, were discussed, taking into account the upcoming September visit of Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Rome and the agreements expected to be signed on that occasion.
