Leyen: 19 Member States requested support
Brussels, August 29 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that 19 Member States, including Latvia, have requested support through the SAFE Defence instrument.
Commission President Leyen stated that 19 Member States, including Latvia, submitted requests for support through the SAFE Defence instrument.
She expressed her satisfaction at reaching full subscription of SAFE, saying: “Total: 150 billion euros. This is a success for Europe.”
