Luxon: Since coming to power, our trade has increased by 12 billion dollars
Wellington, October 27 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced that trade has increased by 12 billion dollars since his government came to power.
Luxon stated that since taking office, trade has risen by 12 billion dollars, adding, “In Kuala Lumpur, I am working to ensure that our trade agreements deliver greater benefits for New Zealand exporters.”
He noted that the Indo-Pacific region is home to some of the world’s largest economies: “It accounts for two-thirds of global GDP, and 70% of our exports take place in these markets.”
Luxon emphasized that this is a major opportunity to harness potential, grow the economy, create jobs, and raise wages.
