Macron stated that the hostages handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross are Eitan Mor, Gali and Ziv Berman, Matan Angrest, Omri Miran, Alon Ahel, and Guy Gilboa-Dalal, adding: “They will soon be free.”

President Macron emphasized that with the expected release of 13 more hostages this morning, hopes for peace in the region have strengthened. “This development makes peace possible for Israel, Gaza, and the entire region,” he said.

Macron added that France would take part in all stages of U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan, alongside the Arab partners involved in the process.

“For now, it is time to enjoy this joy,” Macron said, concluding his statement with a message of solidarity to the families of the hostages.
