Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, stated during the meeting that holding it in Doha reaffirms the shared commitment to support Somalia and its brotherly people on their path toward peace, stability, and development.

Al Muraikhi noted that today's meeting is being held at a time when Somalia is facing complex challenges that threaten its security, stability, sovereignty, and economic growth, emphasizing that this situation imposes a double responsibility on all parties to unify efforts and support Somalia’s national roadmaps with a comprehensive and integrated vision.
