Plenkovic: Germany is Croatia’s most important trading partner
Zagreb, November 6 (Hibya) – Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said that Germany, with a trade volume of 9 billion euros, is Croatia’s most important trading partner.
Plenkovic announced that he had met with a delegation from the German Committee on Eastern, Central, and Southeastern European Economic Relations.
He noted that Germany, with a trade volume of 9 billion euros, remains Croatia’s main trading partner, adding that total goods trade increased by 6.7 percent in the first seven months of 2025.
Plenkovic stated that a meeting with Chancellor Merz will be held in Berlin in December, and that the Germany–Croatia Business Forum will take place during the same period, saying: “This forum represents an important opportunity to establish new partnerships and promote investments between the two countries.”
