Rubio: We have saved taxpayers tens of billions of dollars
Washington, August 29 (Hibya) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that since January they have saved taxpayers tens of billions of dollars.
Secretary of State Rubio said jokingly that he told U.S. President Donald Trump he had four tasks, and Trump told him to give one to his friend Russ Vought. “So I did,” Rubio added.
He stated that since January they have saved taxpayers tens of billions of dollars, and continued:
“With a small core group of programs transferred to the State Department, USAID is officially in the process of shutting down. Russ is now at the helm to oversee the closure of an institution that went off track long ago. Congratulations, Russ.”
