Palestinian Foreign Minister Shahin met with Lithuanian Archbishop Gintaras Grosas during his official visit to Lithuania. Grosas welcomed Shahin and his accompanying delegation.

The delegation included Ambassador Tayseer Al-Ajouri, Director of the European Affairs Sector Ambassador Adel Attia, Ministry Director Second Secretary Amid Abdul Rahim, and Second Secretary George Annab.

Shahin emphasized the need for the international community and churches to intervene and take practical steps to protect the holy sites in Palestine.

Archbishop Gintaras Grosas expressed his full support for the Christian community in Palestine and the region, highlighting the importance of preserving Palestine’s Christian heritage and ensuring freedom of worship and the rights of Christians.
