Sybiha thanks New Zealand for sanctions against Russia
Kyiv, October 30 (Hibya) — Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked the Government of New Zealand for its new sanctions targeting Russia’s oil trade.
Foreign Minister Sybiha expressed gratitude to New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters and the New Zealand Government for imposing new sanctions against Russia’s oil trade.
He stated that the sanctions include 65 shadow fleet vessels and actors from Russia, Belarus, Iran, and North Korea. “These are the necessary steps that my colleague Winston Peters and I discussed in detail during our last meeting in Oslo. I am grateful for his personal efforts and dedication,” said Sybiha.
Sybiha added that their steadfast support strengthens global efforts to hold Russia accountable.
