Tsahkna met with Azerbaijani President Aliyev
Baku, October 22 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said he was honored to begin his visit to Azerbaijan with a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev.
In his statement, Tsahkna said: “This year has been a turning point in advancing the agreements aimed at achieving peace and normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and Estonia fully supports this process.”
Tsahkna also noted that they held comprehensive discussions on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the security of the Baltic Sea region and Europe in general, as well as ways to deepen cooperation between countries.
