UNRWA: Children face the risk of becoming a lost generation
New York, August 29 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that more than 600,000 children in Gaza have been out of school for three years.
In its statement, UNRWA noted that the education system and facilities in Gaza have suffered massive destruction since the start of the war.
The statement emphasized that more than 600,000 children have been out of school for three years: “They are at risk of becoming a lost generation.”
