UNRWA: Syria faces severe humanitarian challenges
New York, October 27 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that Syria continues to face severe humanitarian challenges.
In a statement, UNRWA emphasized that Syria continues to experience serious humanitarian difficulties.
The statement noted that the agency provides vital services to 438,000 Palestinian refugees, offering them a lifeline. “It is essential for UNRWA to continue its presence by providing humanitarian assistance, support, and recovery aid to Palestinian refugees,” the agency said.
