Uzbek Foreign Minister Saidov met with US counterpart Rubio
Samarkand, April 9 (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Minister Saidov stated that he had a comprehensive exchange of views with Rubio regarding the current state and future direction of Uzbekistan–US relations.
He noted that key topics on the agenda included strengthening political dialogue, expanding economic and investment cooperation, developing regional ties, and deepening their joint vision for security and stability in Central Asia.
“We greatly appreciate the United States’ consistent support for Uzbekistan’s reform processes. We agreed to maintain the positive momentum in bilateral relations through strategic partnership, high-level dialogue, and practical cooperation,” Saidov said.
