Zelensky: Europe must have zero Russian energy
Kyiv, October 19 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that there must be zero Russian energy in Europe.
President Zelensky emphasized that Europe must have zero Russian energy, saying: “The signals from the United States are clear: they are ready to supply enough gas and oil to replace Russian resources. Our region has the infrastructure and potential needed to contribute much more to Europe’s energy independence.”
He stated that Ukraine has submitted proposals to the U.S. regarding gas infrastructure, nuclear energy production, and other projects, and that details are currently being worked out.
Zelensky added, “We are now communicating almost every day with all European leaders to show a common position on pressuring Russia — the right kind of pressure. We will give no gifts to the aggressor and we will forget nothing.”
