Zelensky met with Dutch Green-Labour Alliance leader Timmermans
Kyiv, August 29 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Frans Timmermans, leader of the Green-Labour Alliance in the Dutch House of Representatives.
President Zelensky thanked the Netherlands for the significant support provided to Ukraine and Ukrainian families since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, and for the confidence that the people can rely on continuous assistance.
The president stressed the importance of establishing a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Russian Aggression against Ukraine and expressed gratitude for this year’s NATO Summit, which delivered important results for Ukraine.
The meeting discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, financing domestic arms production, increasing investments in drone manufacturing, and continuing support.
Zelensky noted that national security advisers are working this week to complete the security architecture, while Timmermans stressed that one of these security guarantees should be Ukraine’s EU membership and pledged to make every effort to accelerate its accession.
