Costa: With a €90 billion loan, we will support Ukraine in 2026 and 2027
Brussels, April 22 (Hibya) - European Council President Antonio Costa stated that a new €90 billion loan support for Ukraine will be approved, adding that the support “will continue for as long as necessary.”
European Council President Costa made statements regarding the European Union’s financial and political support for Ukraine.
Costa noted that Europe has the capacity to continue supporting Ukraine and said:
“Europe has proven that it has the capacity to support Ukraine, not only last year. With the €90 billion loan we will approve tomorrow, we will support Ukraine in 2026 and 2027. And if necessary, we will continue for as long as it takes and at whatever cost.”
