Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand announced that her upcoming visits to India and the UAE aim to strengthen Canada's relations with both countries.

In a post on social media, Anand stated that amid growing global uncertainty, expanding trade, attracting investment to Canada and strengthening security ties are essential to the country's future prosperity.

Anand said she would meet with government and business representatives during her visits, adding that Canada aims to build on progress in energy, defense and innovation while exploring new opportunities for cooperation.

Emphasizing the significant potential in Canada's relations with India and the UAE, Anand noted that there are many areas in which the parties can work together.
