Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said he was pleased to meet with his Indonesian counterpart and United Nations Under-Secretary-General Jean-Pierre Lacroix.

Emphasizing their commitment to international peace and security, Berendsen said, “Indonesia and the Netherlands will jointly host the 2027 UN Peacekeeping Ministerial in Jakarta.”

Berendsen noted that Indonesia and the Netherlands continue to support the New York Declaration and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, highlighting the two countries' cooperation on United Nations peacekeeping efforts.

Berendsen also said, “We look forward to hosting the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution meeting in The Hague this November.”
