Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that they are deepening cooperation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in the areas of energy, artificial intelligence and digital sovereignty, and have set a goal to double trade between the two countries.

In his statement, Carney said, “We are deepening our cooperation with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in the fields of energy, artificial intelligence and digital sovereignty. We aim to double bilateral trade between Canada and Spain.”

Carney thanked the Spanish Prime Minister for the jersey he presented and said, “See you at the World Cup.”
