Costa: EU determined to meet Ukraine’s financial and defense needs
Brussels, October 23 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa made a statement following the European Council (EUCO) meeting held in Brussels.
European Council President Costa: “The EU is determined to meet Ukraine’s financial and defense needs.”
Antonio Costa emphasized that the European Union is committed over the next two years to meeting Ukraine’s urgent financial needs and supporting its efforts in the military and defense sectors.
In his statement, Costa said: “Today the EU sent an important message: we will continue to stand by Ukraine and provide the support it needs.”
The European Council President also stated that Russia must immediately stop the war and stressed that Europe will continue to act in solidarity to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty and security.
