I donate my salary and usually like to direct it to the White House because this house hadn’t been taken care of properly... Now it shines as it should.”

Criticizing the Democratic Party, Trump said: “I think the Democrats have gone completely crazy... They don’t care about the people. They really have no leadership.”

Addressing the country’s economic situation and the risk of a government shutdown, Trump added: “They should approve an extension, get the country working again, pay people their salaries — it’s very simple.”
