Czech Foreign Minister Lipavsky spoke with his Israeli counterpart Saar
Prague, September 16 (Hibya) – Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky announced that he had held talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar.
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky held a phone call with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar. Sharing details of the conversation, Lipavsky said that he expressed his wish for the war in Gaza to end as soon as possible and for the humanitarian situation to improve.
In his statement, Lipavsky said: "We also discussed the idea of suspending the EU-Israel Partnership Agreement, and I assured him that the Czech Republic is clearly opposed to this and will continue to oppose it, as limiting the EU’s influence in the region is not in its interest."
