Dar: International funds must be used efficiently
Islamabad, October 10 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of the efficient use of international funds and the timely completion of projects during a meeting reviewing the progress of projects of national importance.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar chaired a meeting to review progress on nationally significant projects financed by bilateral and multilateral international partners.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Economic Affairs, the Minister of Law, the Attorney General, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, the Foreign Minister, the Special Secretary of the Finance Division, the Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (EAD), and relevant teams.
Dar stated that timely implementation of projects is critical to ensure the efficient use of funds provided by international partners. He also directed the establishment of an effective monitoring system for periodic evaluation of project progress.
